Food to share from people who care

Vinnies Kitchen was founded in 1992 — in Rosebud, for Rosebud – and is a community-focused and proudly independent organisation.

At Vinnies Kitchen, we offer meals, support, and companionship to those in need. Our kitchen not only serves delicious, nutritious food but also creates a welcoming environment where the local community can connect and find assistance.

Through the efforts of many of volunteers, Vinnies Kitchen fosters a sense of community and compassion.

Whether you’re looking to volunteer, donate, or if you are someone who requires food assistance.

“There’s a place at our table for you.”

Vinnies Kitchen are very grateful to it’s private donors

Several years ago, given my limited availability, I decided to support Vinnies Kitchen in Rosebud weekly by purchasing meat for their operations. Providing financial assistance was a viable means for me to create a positive impact within the community. Furthermore, I hope others would support me if I were ever in a similar situation.

“After retiring from full time employment, I wanted to take up a volunteering role of some kind. Up popped a request on Vinnies Kitchen in Rosebud on Facebook. I rang and asked a few questions and started pretty much straight away. Being able to supply a meal to people who are in need brings me joy and I look forward to my shifts at Vinnies. Catching up with my fellow volunteers and chatting with our clients is very rewarding and a special time for me”
