Our mission at Vinnies Kitchen would not be possible without the generosity and kindness of our wonderful community partners.

SASI: Nourishing the community, building independence

Statewide Autistic Services is proud to support the Vinnies Kitchen Rosebud Program by preparing wholesome, healthy meals in our commercial kitchen. Under the guidance of qualified staff, our customers gain hands-on experience in hygiene practices, food
storage and preparation, teamwork and nutritional information. As they create delicious meals for the community, they also build confidence, develop new skills, and grow their own independence.

“We not only feel the good feels of a worthy cause; we also learn valuable life skills too” says one participant.

Skills learnt in our Vinnies Kitchen program are transferrable to their own lives and maybe even a career in hospitality.

“It is more than just more than just cooking, it is about making a difference too, both for others and for ourselves”.

Here’s why we love supporting Vinnies:

I love supporting the local community in any way I can. The dedication and compassion behind Vinnies Kitchen play a vital role in shaping lives, offering a safe space for people to enjoy a meal while providing comfort and support when they need it most.

The volunteers are truly remarkable, giving their time and resources to uplift others—because at the heart of every thriving community is the willingness to help one another.

When people come together, everyone benefits. Vinnies Kitchen serves as a pillar for many locals, including families, adolescents, the elderly, and anyone in need of a little extra care. Few gestures are more meaningful than sharing a meal with someone who truly needs it.
